John McDonough, the former managing director of glass toughening business Impact Safety Glass, is now heading up the sales team of Merseyside based trade fabricator Warwick North West.
Within weeks of joining, John utilised his industry know-how to land a prestigious commercial contract. Warwick are in the process of supplying 1,600 vertical sliders, 1,900 casement windows and 300 entrance doors, all made with the Eurocell system.
John is also good friends with actor Ricky Tomlinson, and played a key part in organising the recent filming session at Warwick’s factory with the Royle Family star.
Warwick’s director Greg Johnson commented: “My father has known John for several years and has always been impressed with his professional attitude and ability to quickly build a rapport with anyone he meets. I dealt with John myself during his time at Impact Safety Glass and he is an infectious character, a real likeable guy. John has got off to a flying start, first landing the contract in North Wales and then organising the promo day with Ricky – he has firmly established himself as a key member of our team.”
John commented: “Joining Warwick has been a fresh challenge and I have really enjoyed my time so far. Warwick have a fantastic product offering, especially our newly launched flush sash casement, and I’m focussed on finding installers that want to benefit from these high end frames.”
Warwick North West recently launched Innolux, a collection of PVC-u windows and doors that combine innovation and luxury. The Innolux range includes bi-folding doors made with the Eurocell Aspect system, casement windows made with the new Modus system, and vertical sliders made with the Eurocell Charisma system.
